Peterskirche (St. Peter's Church)
St. Peter Baroque Church is very special to the town of Bruchsal because it is a creation of the famous master builder Balthasar Neumann and it’s the only church to have survived the Allied bombings in March of 1945. Under the Church’s 22 meters (72 feet) high central dome is the royal crypt with the mortal remains of Bruchsal’s Prince-Bishops.
During the 250-year history of the church its interior room was restored several times. The modern celebration altar originates from 1999.
