Bruchsal has favorable transportation connections thanks to the A 5 (Basel – Frankfurt/Main), the A 8 (Karlsruhe – Stuttgart – München) as well as the A 6 (Kaiserslautern – Heilbronn – Nuremberg). Besides the Autobahn, the B 3 Heidelberg – Karlsruhe ( in north-south direction) and the B 35 / B 10 Germersheim – Bruchsal – Stuttgart (in west-east direction) are important arterial roads for the region.
Frankfurt/Main (100 km), Stuttgart (90 km), and Strasbourg (90 km) International Airports along with the Baden-Airpark (60 km) (near Baden-Baden) regional airport are easily reachable. Bruchsal also has its own business airfield.
Bruchsal is a railway junction with an IC-/IR-connection. Bruchsal as well as the eastern communities in the Kraichgau are integrated in the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund der Stadtbahn (transportation association of the city railway in Karlsruhe).

The Fachhochschule Karlsruhe, University Karlsruhe , KIT (Institute for Technology in Karlsruhe), all offer excellent educational opportunities.
